Charlie Spurrier is a professional illustrator whose work has seen him recently burst onto the Children's Publishing scene.

With his own unique and refreshing style using the mediums of watercolour and ink, his paintings depict humour, subtle storytelling and display an advanced technical understanding of light, colour and drawing ability. His characters (often animals) portray very humanoid emotions and characteristics that depict a story for the viewer to identify with and explore.

 

Charlie was born in London, United Kingdom and has worked for many years within the creative arts industry as a Conservator for museums. In early 2023 after a decade of balancing his art work alongside his job, he moved to Illustration full time to truly advance his craft, technical skill and further expand his portfolio.
